November 8, 2025 | Gyan Mandala, Jhamsikhel | Open Ticketed Show jointly organized by Srijanalaya, DrawingroomKTM, Nritya Aagan, and The Joy House Collective

माछाको रंगीन सपना (Fish’s Rainbow Dream) was presented as an open ticketed family storytelling show at Gyan Mandala, Jhamsikhel, welcoming children and their guardians into a magical story world where imagination, nature, and creativity came together through interactive performance. This show brought together around 35 children aged 5–8 years, along with their parents and guardians, creating a warm and intimate storytelling space.

The event was jointly organised by Srijanalaya, DrawingroomKTM, Nritya Aagan, and The Joy House Collective — a beautiful collaboration of creative communities.

About the Story

माछाको रंगीन सपना tells the journey of a black-and-white fish who longs to discover colour and meaning in its world. As the story unfolds, the five elements — earth, water, sky, space, and fire — become symbolic forces that help the fish understand its own potential.

Through music, movement, and interactive dialogue, children explored how colours are not simply given, but discovered through courage.

A Shared Experience for Children and Parents

This show was designed not just for children, but for families.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance — responding with curiosity, movement, and spontaneous interaction. The transformation of the studio into a vibrant story landscape, sparked creative imagination and wonder in the room.

Feedback

“Act as per child imagination, developing understanding of nature and science, how it works; increasing interaction & very engaging.” – Tirtha Maharjan (Participant as a Parent)

This reflection beautifully captured the essence of the show — imaginative, interactive, and rooted in meaningful learning.

This show reaffirmed that storytelling becomes most powerful when families experience it together. माछाको रंगीन सपना encouraged children to think, question, and discover their inner colors while strengthening family bonds through shared creativity.
