Around 35 children aged 5–11, along with their guardians, joined in the bright and welcoming studio space of Nritya Aagan to experience the story of Alli and Talli, two alligator friends on a playful journey.

The storytelling performance invited children to become active participants, not just listeners. Students laughed, responded, and even stepped into the story through role play, offering ideas, suggestions, and supportive actions as Alli faced challenges. This interactive approach helped children stay engaged, explore empathy, and practice imaginative thinking while following the story’s progression.

“The experience has been fabulous both for my daughter (age 4) and for me. The play was interactive and kept the attention of all the kids. And to top it off making their own Alli the Alligators was just amazing. Thank you so much. Please make this a regular activity.” – Sasha Kydd, Participant

After the performance, children extended their connection with the story through a hands-on craft activity. Using paper and simple materials, each child created their own alligator puppet, bringing personal creativity into the characters.

The children actively participated, collaborated, and expressed themselves confidently. The children were focused, animated, and proud of their creations, capturing moments of shared engagement and creativity.

The session offered multiple benefits, helping children develop listening skills, empathy, imagination, communication, and collaborative thinking. By blending storytelling, role play, and creative activities, the experience encouraged both social and emotional learning while keeping the children fully engaged and enjoying themselves.
