November 12, 2025 | Storytelling Show | Suvaneshwor Secondary School, Bhaktapur

माछाको रंगीन सपना (Fish’s Rainbow Dream) travelled to Suvarneshwor Secondary School, Bhaktapur, for a special performance designed for a government school community. Around 200 students from Class 1 to 8 gathered in their school courtyard to experience theatre brought directly into their learning space.

About the Story

माछाको रंगीन सपना is a heartwarming tale of a fish who dreams of discovering colors in a world that feels dull and limited. Through a journey guided by the five elements—earth, water, sky, space, and fire—the fish learns about courage, imagination, and the beauty of diversity. The story gently blends themes of nature, science, and emotional growth in a way children deeply relate to.

A Courtyard Transformed into a Story world

The performance was held outdoors in the school courtyard, which was filled with eager anticipation long before the show began. As the actors entered, the everyday school space transformed into a lively and magical world of storytelling. The open sky above, the surrounding school walls, and the natural light added a beautiful authenticity to the performance.

The children responded with wholehearted enthusiasm—laughing, clapping, and leaning forward in curiosity. It was clear that the experience felt new and special—live theatre unfolding right in the heart of their own school.

The event was also attended by foreign guests volunteering at the school, who joined the students in enjoying this shared cultural and creative experience. The performance became not just entertainment, but a meaningful exchange of imagination and joy across communities.

For many children, this was their first experience of live theatre, and even more special because the stories reflected their own world of imagination, nature, and everyday wonder.
