The world of our imagination does not have the same boundaries as our real world. And when these both worlds merge, stories are born. Adapted from K.G. Stone’s book on “The Alligator’s Secret”, this performance is designed as a new interpretation of the concept and brought to life by interactive and engaging experiences.

The story is about the two characters, Alli and Salli who are going to school. On their way to school, Alli finds himself in a problem. They both try different ideas to fix the problem. Just like in a real world, when we often wear a mask to hide from our truths, they both wear a mask behind which they can hide their problems. While dancing and singing through the fun-filled session, suddenly Alli’s mask drops off. The teachers and the children find out Alli’s secret. They collectively help Alli to bring him out of his problem. Alli and Salli, now without hiding behind their masks, can enjoy the dance and the company of joyful children.

Storytelling is not just about the story. It is about giving new perspectives to see the world around us. With hand-made paper puppets, Alli and Salli are brought to life and they share their journey with the audience by engaging them in a fun-filled way. We hope that these two alligators ignite the joy of stories amongst the children they meet.
